​The Key West Artisan Market will host a World AIDS Day event on Sunday, December 1, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Clarence H. Higgs Memorial Beach. Guests are encouraged to “Rock the Red Ribbon Together” by wearing or picking up a complimentary red ribbon provided by volunteers from the Friends of the Memorial Board.
 
The day begins with a 9:00 AM ceremony at the Key West AIDS Memorial, organized by the Friends of the Key West AIDS Memorial to honor the lives lost to HIV/AIDS. The memorial, designed by Michael Ingram in 1997, features over 1,300 engraved names and is located at the Edward B. Knight Pier. The ceremony includes a reading of all names, remarks by featured speaker Dr. Raymond Rodriguez of Mt. Sinai Medical Center, and the presentation of an original poem by Key West Poet Laureate Flower Conroy, read by Andrea Wright.
 
Following the ceremony, the Tree of Hope will be on display at the Artisan Market. Visitors can make donations to support the Friends of the AIDS Memorial and receive commemorative items, including coins and ornaments. Attendees are also invited to add names of loved ones lost to HIV/AIDS to the Tree of Hope.
 
The Key West Artisan Market offers a vibrant array of experiences, including food and drink options such as Bloody Marys, mimosas, coffee, smoothies, and meals from local food trucks. Shoppers can explore fine crafts, art, and jewelry from talented Florida Keys artisans while enjoying live music. Visitors can also meet authors from the Key West Writers Guild and support the Key West Wildlife Center’s Raise the Roof Capital Campaign.

Join us for the Key West Artisan Market, Leave Your Legacy edition featuring Key West Art & Historical Society November 17, 2024, 10 am to 2 pm at Indigenous Park. Meet KWAHS staff and learn more about the buy a brick initiative. Personalized bricks are the perfect way to celebrate a connection to Key West and to ensure that an individual, business, friend, loved one, or even a pet will be memorialized in history.  Funds from the brick campaign provide for the ongoing costs of safeguarding the Society’s architecturally significant museum building—a beacon of historic preservation and center for community engagement. Bricks are available for purchase for the remainder of the year with a projected installation date of June 2025. Founded in 1949, the Key West Art and Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization tasked with the promotion of the humanities, art, and history of the Florida Keys by educating the public and by collecting, preserving, restoring, and exhibiting significant art, artifacts, and historical properties.

Their focus is on rigorous science to educate the public & advocacy toward policymakers to achieve conservation, protection, and coral reef restoration. Protecting our oceans is especially important to us in the Keys.

Meet the volunteers of the Florida Keys SPCA and maybe a pup or two! Bring your well-behaved four legged friends - the market is always pet friendly and right next to the dog park!

The Market offers bloody marys, mimosas along with a full bar, coffee, natural juices and cut fruit, plus multiple food stalls offering eat-here or take-away. Shop a curated outdoor market offering fine crafts, art and jewelry from talented Florida Keys makers. Stock the pantry and fridge with fresh produce, artisan cheeses, local seafood, honey, pickles, pastries, cigars, soaps and much more. Bring a lawn chair and listen to awesome musicians and support the featured charities.

The Key West Artisan Market Upcycle/Recycle edition scheduled for February 18 will be moved to Monday, February 19 due to predicted inclement weather. The forecast on Sunday calls for a 90% chance of heavy rains and winds. Rather than risk another rainout, organizers have elected to move the show to Monday, which is a federal holiday. The event hours and location remain the same: 10 am to 2 pm at Clarence H. Higgs Memorial Beach, Key West.  More than 80 Keys-based local artists, crafters, curators and makers count on the Key West Artisan Market as a venue to offer their goods to residents and visitors during season. The Key West Artisan Market kicks off its 11th season with the "Welcome to the Party" edition Sunday, October 22, 2023, in the parking lot at Sonny Mccoy Indigenous Park, 1801 White Street, across from Edward B. Knight Pier and Higgs Beach.  This unique show will be from 10 am to 2 pm with all the regular artists and vendors and again from 5 pm to 7 pm with a selection of food and beverage to support the throngs of viewers lined up to watch the Zombie Bike Parade.
 
The Key West Artisan Market is a unique open air bazaar filled with artists, authors, chef-made cuisine, craftspeople, performers and fresh produce representing diversity, creativity, ingenuity and locally made products. Participants must live and also create/curate in the Keys in order to qualify. Each show offers a different theme and features one or more local charities. The 2023/2024 season offers 19 dates:  Oct 22, Nov 5, Nov 19, Dec 3, Dec 17, Dec 31, Jan 14, Jan 28, Feb 4, Feb 11, Feb 18, Feb 25, March 3, March 10, March 17, March 24, March 21, April 7, April 14. There is also a special Fantasy Market Friday, October 27 from 10 am to 3 pm at the Truman Waterfront and a huge Black Friday show, November 24 from 10 am to 6 pm also at the Waterfront.
 
Key West Artisan Market: Welcome to the Party Edition, Sunday, October 23 from 10 am to 2 pm, kicks off Fantasy Fest week with the first market of the season. In addition to live music, great food, adult beverages, fun costume pieces and beautiful art, the show will feature the Little Pink Houses of Hope program, which promotes breast cancer screening and creates lifetime memory vacations for breast cancer patients & their families.
