BY AIR Key West International Airport, a 10 minute drive from the downtown area, welcomes airlines such as American Airlines, Delta, Silver Airways, United, Jet Blue, and Allegiant. Most flights either connect through larger cities including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando and Atlanta. Car rentals, taxis, and bus service are available at the airport. Rental shop owners supply bicycles equipped with necessary lights and locks, and scooter agents make sure that all the drivers are comfortable before sending them off.
