For holiday shoppers who love to keep it local and artful, there’s one final WOW before Christmas--Thursday, Dec. 18 from 6:00-9:00pm, complete with special guest appearances by Santa Claus and the Key West High School Chonchettes performance team.
Radiating from its hub at the Fausto’s parking lot and extending to participating White St. locations between Southard and United, Walk on White invites strollers to discover works by local painters, sculptors, ceramic and mixed media artists, and artisan jewelry makers while enjoying exhibit openings, creative demonstrations, libation and food samples and plenty of friendly neighborhood cheer. From 5:30-7:30pm Santa will welcome wish-makers and selfie-takers in front of Key West City Hall on White Street, while the KWHS Conchettes will bring holiday dazzle with performances at 6:00pm at City Hall, and 6:45pm at the Fausto’s parking lot. Held the third Thursday monthly through May, each Walk on White event benefits a local non-profit organization, with Dec. 18 benefiting the KWHS Conchettes. Sponsored in part by the Monroe County Tourist Development Council, for a list of participating locations and more information, visit www.WalkOnWhiteKeyWest.com. Comments are closed.
