Tour de Keys 2025 Celebrates Record-Breaking 10th Anniversary Ride, Nears $200,000 Goal for Health and Housing in the Florida Keys

 KEY WEST, FL — Tour de Keys 2025 marked a milestone on November 22, celebrating the event’s 10th anniversary with its largest ride to date. The event brought together 300 participants, including riders from across the country, who tackled either the 100-mile or 50-mile route in support of vital community services in the Florida Keys.
 
With fundraising continuing through December 31, Tour de Keys has reached 96% of its $200,000 goal, making 2025 the most successful ride in the event’s 10-year history. Organizers note that the community still has an opportunity to help carry Tour de Keys across the finish line, with all funds raised supporting the local, mission-driven work of AH Monroe and MARC, Inc.
 
All funds raised stay in the Florida Keys, strengthening community health and housing services and programs that support adults with developmental disabilities.
 
Riders at the Heart of the Impact
Tour de Keys is powered by its riders, and the 2025 event showcased remarkable dedication and generosity from participants across the route. Organizers extend heartfelt thanks to every rider, donor, and supporter who helped make this milestone year possible.
 
A standout highlight of Tour de Keys 2025 was the fundraising success of the Key West Mile Markers, who collectively raised nearly $94,000. Leading the fundraising was Donald Dotzauer, who earned the distinction of top individual fundraiser for the second consecutive year. Fellow Mile Markers Juan Benitez and Chris Sloan rounded out the top three individual fundraisers, underscoring the team’s exceptional commitment to the cause.

With fundraising still open through the end of the year, there’s an opportunity for everyone to be part of that impact.”

The event was supported in part by the Monroe County Tourist Development Council, whose funding helped support event production and outreach, attracting riders from across the country. Riders crossed the finish line in November, but the impact of Tour de Keys 2025 is still building. Riders have until December 31 to continue fundraising, and community members are invited to help push Tour de Keys across the finish line.
