Key West, FL — The Black Friday Shopping Extravaganza returns to Truman Waterfront Park on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering a distinctly Key West twist on the busiest shopping day of the year.
 
Presented by the Key West Artisan Market and the Truman Waterfront Farmers Market, the event transforms the waterfront into an open-air holiday marketplace filled with creativity, color, and local flavor.
 
Shoppers can stroll the waterfront, enjoy ocean views, and check off everyone on their holiday list — then treat themselves to something special too. From artisan creations to island-inspired indulgences, every purchase supports the local makers and mom-and-pop entrepreneurs who keep Key West creative and colorful.
 
Visitors will find an impressive array of goods, including Conch Republic–themed merchandise, original art, paintings, candles, apparel, swimwear, woodcraft, jewelry, Turkish towels, bath and body products, handmade cards, 3D printing creations, herbal tinctures, organics, orchids and plants, gourmet cheeses, local produce, honey, and an international selection of freshly prepared food. Every item reflects the originality and craftsmanship of Florida Keys artists, growers, and small businesses.
 
The Black Friday Shopping Extravaganza also gives regular marketgoers an extra opportunity to shop, as the Truman Waterfront Farmers Market will not be held on Thanksgiving Day.

​KEY WEST — Families are invited to celebrate Halloween at the Truman Waterfront Farmers Market on Thursday, October 30, when the market transforms into a safe, family-friendly Halloween party from 4 to 7 p.m.
 
Kids can trick-or-treat among market vendors, explore the City of Key West Transit’s popular Haunted Bus, and enjoy bounce houses from Four Star Rentals, games, and plenty of sweet treats. Key 93.7 – The Keys’ Yacht Rock Station will be on-site spinning fun Halloween tunes, and H&R Block will hand out free treat bags. There will also be Halloween activities hosted by Keep Key West Beautiful, Samuel’s House, and the Key West Women’s Club.
 
Parents can relax with dinner, drinks, and dessert while their little ghosts and goblins dance under the sunset sky. The regular Farmers Market opens at 2 p.m., with the Halloween festivities beginning at 4 p.m.
 
There’s still time for local businesses and organizations to join the fun by hosting a free trick-or-treat booth, donating candy or giveaways, or helping support free activities for the kids.

​KEY WEST — On Thursday, October 30, the Truman Waterfront Farmers Market will transform into a festively spooky celebration where families can enjoy a free community Halloween party and little costumed revelers can trick-or-treat among the vendor tents. From 4 pm until shortly after sunset at 7 pm, the market will be filled with laughter, costumes, and plenty of Halloween fun.
 
The evening will feature free bounce houses from Four Star Rentals, kid’s games, a Halloween music dance party, and a tempting variety of food, drinks, and sweet treats. The City of Key West – Key West Transit will bring its popular “Haunted Bus” for brave visitors to explore, and H&R Block will hand out free treat bags to children. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to picnic and enjoy the park, splash pad, and playground.
 
Local businesses, organizations, and civic groups are invited to secure complimentary space to set up a tent or table as a trick-or-treat stop, hand out candy, or provide free activities and giveaways. Participation offers an excellent opportunity for community visibility, allowing organizations to connect directly with hundreds of local families and demonstrate their commitment to supporting positive, safe events for children.
 
Vendors offering food, beverages, arts, crafts, and merchandise are also invited to participate at a reduced rate if they join in the trick-or-treat fun.

Instead, the Black Friday Shopping Extravaganza will be held November 29 from 10 am to 6 pm at the beautiful Truman Waterfront mole by the USCGC Ingham Maritime Museum in Key West.  The open-air bazar is hosted by the Truman Waterfront Farmers Market, the Key West Artisan Market and Shop Mom & Pop Key West as an alternative to online and big box stores. One-of-a-kind gifts, unique handmade items, exquisite art and awesome people along with delicious culinary delights, yummy beverages and the views you won't find at any mall make this a can't miss shopping event.

The Key West Artisan Market kicks off its 12th season with the "Welcome to the Party" Fantasy Fest edition Sunday, October 20, 2023, in the parking lot at Sonny Mccoy Indigenous Park, 1801 White Street. This unique show will be from 10 am to 2 pm with all the regular artists and vendors and again from 5 pm to 7 pm with a selection of food and beverage to support the throngs of viewers lined up to watch the Zombie Bike Parade.
 
The Key West Artisan Market is a unique open air bazaar filled with artists, authors, chef-made cuisine, craftspeople, performers and fresh produce representing diversity, creativity, ingenuity and locally made products. Participants must live and also create/curate in the Keys in order to qualify. Each show offers a different theme and features one or more local charities. The 2024/2025 season offers 22 dates between October and April. There is also a special Fantasy Market Friday, October 25  from 10 am to 4 pm at the Conch Republic Seafood Company/631 Green Street and a huge Black Friday show, November 29 from 10 am to 6 pm at the Truman Waterfront Park.

Thursday, October 31 the Truman Waterfront Farmers Market will offer a festively spooky atmosphere for parents to bring their children for a free Halloween party and trick or treating at the vendor tents. The Key West Fire Department anticipates being on hand with a ladder truck for the kids to explore as well as The City of Key West-Key West Transit's 'haunted bus' for kids of all ages to take a walk through. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the park. The splash pad and playground will also offer even more fun.
 
The Market opens at 2 pm and the party starts at 4 pm and ends shortly after sunset at 7 pm. Parking is free for locals with a residential sticker. Bikes, ride share and the Duval Loop are encouraged.
 
Local businesses and organizations are invited to register for complimentary space to set up a table or tent to be a trick or treat stop for the kids and hand out candy, provide free activities and/or give-aways.
