34th Annual Lighted Boat Parade Dazzles at the Key West Historic Seaport

Seasonal magic illuminated the Key West Historic Seaport on Sunday as the 34th annual Schooner Wharf Bar & Galley/Absolut Vodka Lighted Boat Parade presented a glittering procession of nearly 30 illuminated watercraft to a delighted crowd. Decked-out vessels included classic schooners, catamarans, fishing and pleasure crafts, and dinghies, with themes ranging from tiki hut boats transformed into space ships with alien passengers, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer & Santa on a maritime Christmas adventure, the Grinch up to mischief, and more.

This and other “Bight Before Christmas”’ events at the Historic Seaport are part of Key West Holiday Fest, an annual island-wide celebration of the season orchestrated by numerous entities, and presented in part by The Lodging Association of the Florida Keys and Key West and the Monroe County Tourist Development Council.
