    Discover your artistic capabilities while creating paintings, stories, and sculptures and more!
  • Code Breakers I:
    June 12-16, July 14-18 – Ages 7-11 — $225 per week
    Discover the basics of computer programming, coding, and design using a Raspberry Pi2.
  • Code Breakers II:
    June 28 – July 2, July 19 – 23 – Ages 7-11 — $225 per week
    Discover advanced computer programming, coding, and design using Raspberry Pi2. Campers must have completed Code Breakers I prior to enrollment.

Other Summer Activities:
About Summer Sailing Camp: Summer Youth Sailing Camp serves youth ages 6 to 17. Sessions are one week each, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm, with certified instructors. Classes cover all skill levels, from the basics of sailing to racing, on a variety of boats owned by the Center. Cost is $250 per student for each week session. Scholarships are provided for underserved children.

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB
Key West and Big Pine Key Camps June 2 through August 11, (closed July 5th for Independence Day) 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday, ages 5 and older. Activities include sports, swimming, movies, pool, beaches, bowling, dance, theater, and music. $95/week (siblings are half price), children 13 and over are FREE. Fee includes breakfast, snack, lunch, and field trips. 305-296-2258. Due to Covid, we won’t be able to have as many kids in our program as we normally would. Our current members get priority placement, and then we will start adding from our waitlist. Once you have filled out the application, bring it in and we can get you on the waiting list.

REEF RELIEF’S CORAL CAMP

Children 6 -12 years of age explore and learn about our surrounding marine environment through exciting educational activities at the Reef Relief Environmental Center in Key West. Each fun-packed day, campers will experience hands-on learning, interactive games, and field trips. Field trips include trips to the Key West Marine Park, the Key West Aquarium, and the living coral reef! Due to current COVID-19 restrictions camp capacity will be lowered to 18 campers, all campers will have to fill out a COVID safety form on the first day of camp, masks will be required AT ALL TIMES while in the center and walking to field trips, daily temperature checks will be required, and each camper will need to bring hand sanitizer to the center every day.

To ensure the safety of our campers scheduled field trips are subject to cancellation due to weather conditions or other safety concerns. Space is limited! Sci-Fi Camp: June 7 – June 11

During the 5-day camp, your camper will explore our solar system as they create UFO’s, make moon rocks, and have fun using black light painting techniques. Pottery Camp: June 14 – June 18

Instructor: Crystal Smith Location: Fort East Martello Museum

In this 5-day camp, your camper will learn beginning pottery terms, create a tile mosaic, make coil pots and pinch pots, and learn about local Key West artists who specialize in this medium.  In addition to registering online, Parents will need to fill out the 2021 ArtCamp! This week concludes with a premiere of the film for parents and families.  During this 5-day camp, campers will learn the art of clay molding, wire figures, set design, and how to compose 24 frames per minute using stop-motion photography to create an animated movie, which will premiere on the last day of camp for parents and families.In addition to registering online, Parents will need to fill out the 2021 ArtCamp! Live Action History: The Greco Persian Wars: July 5 – July 9
8:45am – 4:00pm – COST: $200 – $250
Join us for a 5-day adventure that relives The Histories as told by Herodotus during the 5th century BCE. Campers will learn about the rise of the Persian Empire and the causes that started the Greco Persian Wars in the Greek City-States. Campers will use maps, teamwork, code-breaking, character role-playing, and acting to recreate this incredible time.

Outdoor Sculpture Creations Camp: July 12 – July 16
8:45am – 4:00pm – COST: $200 – $250
During this 5-day camp, students will learn about the outdoor sculptures created by artists Dale Chihuly, Louise Nevelson, and Claus Oldenburg. Students will then work together to design and create a sculpture from recycled materials that will be able to withstand the elements for up to three months. This camp concludes with a pop-up exhibit that is curated and installed by the campers. Parents and families are invited to the opening, which will take place before pickup on the last day of camp.

Movie Maker Camp – Part 1: July 19 – July 23

This 5-day workshop will take our campers behind the scenes of the movie-making industry. Participants will have a hands-on experience as they write a script, make costumes, build sets, and create the props to be used in next week’s program, Movie Makers Camp: Part 2. Movie Maker Camp – Part 2: July 26 – July 30

The second part of this 5-day workshop will take our students behind the scenes of the movie-making industry. Participants will review the script, cast roles for the film, create theatrical makeup, and learn how to direct a movie. The students will have an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of technology and understanding of the film production process. Adventure: Death Takes a Holiday: August 2 – August 6

Join us for a 5-day adventure that picks up where we last left off during The Rise of the Dark Queen. At the conclusion of our last camp, Death decides to take a holiday, throwing the world of Jozan into chaos. What will campers do when they can’t defeat evil? This open-forum adventure allows campers to create the outcome of the story and work together to bring balance back to this mythical world.

The Ultimate Scarecrow Challenge: August 9 – August 11

During this 3-day camp, students will work together to design and create a scarecrow which will be entered into the 3rd Annual Scarecrows in the Forest Contest at the Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Gardens. Students will need to use creativity and problem solving to ensure that their scarecrow will last outdoors during this fall competition.  SEACAMP MARINE SCIENCE CAMP (Big Pine Key)
Session 1: June 24- July 11 (18 day)
Session 2: July 14- July 31 (18 day)

Both 18 day sessions are $4,400 each for 12-17 year old co-ed campers. To sign up for the SCUBA program, it is an extra $525 which includes everything (gear, check out dives, certifications, etc.).

Session 3: Aug 4- Aug 10 (7 day)
Session 4: Aug 11- Aug 17 (7 day)

Both 7 day sessions are $1,900 for 10-17 year old co-ed campers. If they would like to do the SCUBA program, it is still an extra $525 fee, but they would have to be at least 12 years old and sign up for BOTH 7-day sessions because we cannot do a certification in just 7 days.

ISLAND GROOVE DANCE CAMPS IN BIG PINE KEY
Fun, fun, FUN! Island Groove’s 2021 Summer camps will get your child to forget their handheld devices as they get lost in the magic of dance & athletic related activities. Each camp has its own unique theme and will emphasize different aspects of the performing arts. Camps include themed crafts and will end in a final virtual performance where your rising star has an opportunity to showcase what they’ve been working on throughout the week!

Let it go into the unknown in this “Frozen” Inspired dance camp!  Children will learn dance styles like Ballet, Jazz, Creative Dance, and Tumbling in a fun and positive atmosphere all while dancing to their favorite Frozen music! During their fantasy adventure, we will celebrate Coronation Day and have a Crowning Ceremony, have a sing a long dance party, play Frozen games, and create Frozen themed crafts. Cowabunga dudes! It’s time to shell-ebrate summer with new Ninja defense & tumbling skills!  Ninjas will get to explore creative Ninja Turtle Inspired obstacle courses while improving strength, flexibility, & hand-eye coordination! Mix all that in with crafting, games, & movies for a FUN TURTLE TIME! At the end of the week, students will earn a medal & showcase their skills virtually for parents to view!

CHOREOLAB RETREAT DANCE CAMP – Ages 8 & UP

Calling all aspiring young dance artists! Give your dancer an opportunity to hone in on their creative voice as they utilize their dance technique and artistry in new ways to create their own dance pieces.  Students will explore a variety of techniques including journaling to enhance their dance making! Art/Crafting will be representation to choreography that will be show cases virtually on the last day of camp for each participant to a unique masterpiece of representation through a choreographed dance performance!

Be a star this summer! Dancing, singing, & acting is what it takes to be a Broadway Bound performer! Students will audition, participate in character roles with dancing, vocals/songs, & acting scenes from Broadway Musicals such as Willy Wonka, Moana, & Frozen 2!  Each day our cast will rehearse, craft our own props, play acting games, & more!  A virtual showcase of this Broadway Medley will be presented VIRTUALLY on the last day of camp!

Come tumble, tuck, & roll in our week-long Acro Dance & Gymnast Camp!  Students will focus on improving strength, flexibility, & technique during this week of active learning.  Each day students will experience 5 days of acro training, specializing in tumbling, limbering, balancing, contortion, partner work, Acro Dance progressions & choreography as well as fun with crafts, games, movies, & more! At the end of the week, students will earn a medal & showcase their skills virtually for parents to view!

If you’re a super fan of Taylor Swift, Jojo, or the Descendants, then you need to jump right on this trendy tour bus as one of the topnotch dance crew members for Pastel Popstars & Rainbow Rockers! Soon, you’ll be on your way to showing off all your jazz moves & hip-hop grooves. Funky cool crafts, games, & more are what this 3 Day party is all about! Your fans are sure to be star struck when you dance your way to your virtual concert debut on the last day of camp!

PIGEON KEY’S MARINE SCIENCE SUMMER CAMP
The Pigeon Key Foundation & Marine Science Center gravitates towards hands-on learning and interaction within the Florida Keys ecosystem, providing campers with a fun and pivotal, one-of-a-kind experience. PKFMSC offers a variety of marine programs, giving your campers a solid and multi-faceted understanding of the marine world around them. Campers are given a brief background on the subject and then immersed in the field, allowing them to utilize their newly acquired knowledge. Activities include a variety of games, marine organism scavenger hunts, an underwater obstacle course, a Sombrero Reef snorkel trip and many more.

Day camp costs $375, runs 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, July 5th-9th, July 26th-30th, and August 2nd – 6th and is for ages 8-16. Overnight camp costs $975, runs 9am Monday-5pm Friday, July 12th – 16th and July 19th – 23rd and is for ages 10-16. Prices include:

  • Camps based off local, state and CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19.
